Juganu Selected to Participate in The 5G Open Innovation Labs’ Global Applied Innovation Ecosystem

Company is one of only two companies from outside North America selected to participate in 12-week program for startups working on 5G applications

Smart technology company Juganu announced today they have been selected by the 5G Open Innovation Lab (5G OI Lab) to participate in its fourth batch of startups in their global applied innovation ecosystem. Juganu will be joined by 11 other startups developing solutions encompassing a broad range of technologies including AI, advanced driver assist systems, cybersecurity, IoT, natural language processing, and advanced wildfire-fighting technology.

During the 12-week program, startups will work closely with the founding and corporate partners, which include technology giants Accenture, Intel, Microsoft, and Ericsson. The partners provide business and technology assets, resources, and mentorship to the participating companies through private working sessions, roundtables, networking and social events, with opportunities to meet the Lab’s extensive partner network of venture capital firms.

Participating startups from around the world were selected for the exclusive program through a rigorous screening process that seeks to identify the most compelling use cases for various industries from agriculture to health care.

The new batch members have cumulatively raised $203.9 million in investments to date. Since the 5G OI Lab’s first Batch in May 2020, 69 teams have participated in the program raising over half a billion dollars in pre-program funding with 10 teams raising an additional $120 million venture funding post-program.
